Queens Court Staff

Queens court is aimed at developing young women basketball players by focusing on improving technical abilities as well as offering players a competitive environment to play and train. The Primary Focus of Queens court is to focus on each player's ability and determination to learn and develop through Basketball.  Our dedicated staff of coaches/trainers is a diverse team of highly skilled professionals with extensive experience playing and coaching basketball at some of the highest levels of the sport. Nigel

Nigel Burch Coach/Trainer

Nigel Burch is a dedicated basketball coach and trainer with a Gold certification from USA Basketball and an AAU Basketball coaching membership. A 2018 graduate of Timber Creek High School in Erial, NJ, he played three years at the DIII level for Camden County College, Buffalo State, and Neumann University. Burch has two years of coaching experience at the high school AAU level with Kings-Olympus Unlimited and Rens United NJ, as well as two years at the prep school level with Olympus Prep Academy. His passion for player development and strategic coaching continues to inspire athletes at all levels.

Trina

Trina B Coach/Trainer

Trina B is a passionate basketball coach and trainer with a Gold certification from USA Basketball and an AAU Basketball coaching membership. A 2019 graduate of Cedar Creek High School, she made history as the only woman to record 1,000 rebounds and 1,000 points. She played at Rowan University and Stockton University, earning recognition as a JUCO championship finalist and Woman of the Year at Rowan College in 2022. With two years of coaching experience at summer basketball camps and training sessions, Trina is committed to developing young athletes and fostering a love for the game.

Joe Johnson Coach/Trainer

Joe Johnson is a highly accomplished basketball coach whose career has been shaped by both his playing experience and his deep passion for the game. A standout player in his own right, Johnson played high school basketball at Timber Creek High School in Sicklerville, New Jersey, where he honed his skills and began to build a strong foundation for his future in the sport. He later played Division 2 college basketball at California State University, Dominguez Hills, where he displayed his skills and basketball IQ, earning recognition for his leadership and ability to perform under pressure.

After college, Johnson took his game overseas, playing professionally in Mexico, Argentina, and Germany. His time in these international leagues was marked by success and perseverance, as he adapted to unique styles of play and cultures while excelling on the court. One of the highlights of his playing career was winning a championship with Erding Basket in Germany, where his exceptional performance helped secure the team’s victory, further solidifying his legacy as a talented and determined player. Johnson also played 8 years professionally in the ABA (LA Push) and internationally.

William "Nigel" Burch Coach/Trainer

Nigel is the co-owner of Queens Court Basketball and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force Reserves. With a Gold certification from USA Basketball and an AAU Basketball coaching membership, he brings over seven years of basketball training experience across various age and skill levels. Burch has coached for 16 years at the middle and high school levels with teams like Kings-Olympus Unlimited, Rens United NJ, Team Final-Black, and Philly Freedom Stars, as well as four years at the prep school level with Olympus Prep Academy. He studied at Morehouse College and Rutgers University (Camden, NJ).
